Two key points of electric ball valve installation


In the process of installing electric ball valve, there are two installation points that need our attention. These two points can not be ignored. Let's take a look at the two main points in the installation process of electric ball valve.
One of the key points in the installation process of electric ball valve: the installation position, height, inlet and outlet direction must meet the design requirements, the direction of medium flow should be consistent with the arrow direction marked on the valve body, and the connection should be firm and tight. In addition, another key point of electric ball valve installation is that the appearance inspection must be carried out before the installation of the ball valve. For the valve with working pressure greater than 1.0MPa and having a cut-off effect on the main pipe, the strength and tightness test shall be conducted before installation. It can be used only after it is qualified.

The operating torque is the main parameter to select the valve electric device. The movement process of electric ball valve can be controlled by stroke, torque or axial thrust. Since the working characteristics and utilization rate of valve electric device depend on the type of valve, the working specification of device and the position of valve on pipeline or equipment, the electric ball valve device of valve is an indispensable equipment to realize program control, automatic control and remote control of valve.
The units that have not yet carried out predictive maintenance of electric ball valve shall conduct regular calibration for electric ball valve. Periodic calibration is preventive maintenance. According to the different process production process, the periodic calibration of electric ball valve should have different calibration cycle. The periodic calibration cycle of each electric ball valve can be determined according to the information provided by the manufacturer. Overhaul can usually be carried out simultaneously in the production process.
When some electric ball valves are used in high pressure, high pressure drop or strong corrosive situation, the inspection period should be shortened. When the electric ball valve is tested, it is necessary to test the performance of the electric ball valve. Regular calibration requires relevant test equipment and instruments, and also needs to have replacement parts. Therefore, it can usually be completed by the manufacturer.
The varieties and quantity of pneumatic ball valves are still expanding, and they are developing towards high pressure, high temperature, large orifice diameter, high sealing performance, long service life, excellent regulating performance and multi-function of one valve. Its reliability and other performance indexes have reached a high level, and some of them can replace gate valve, globe valve and regulating valve. With the technical progress of pneumatic ball valve, it will be widely used in oil and gas pipeline, oil refining cracking unit and nuclear industry in the foreseeable short time.
